Our Design
Our journey began with a simple yet profound inspiration. The design team was on a cross – country trip, marveling at the ever – changing canvas of the sky above each city. From the warm, golden-orange glow of a Los Angeles sunset that painted the sky like a fiery masterpiece, to the electric cerulean blue of a clear New York City day that seemed to go on forever.
These city skies were not only beautiful, they were full of energy and stories. Meanwhile, we had always been deeply fascinated by the delicate and intricate beauty of butterflies. Their wings, with their unique patterns and dazzling colors, were nature’s own works of art.
Our team wondered if we could somehow combine these two sources of inspiration – the urban allure of city skies and the natural elegance of butterflies. That’s when the idea for Titanium Made was born.
The design team set out to create necklaces that would capture the essence of these city skies. We chose titanium alloy as the base material and developed an advanced anodizing process that eschewed traditional coloring methods. This allowed us to replicate the vibrant, fade-resistant color gradients of the skies we had witnessed. Each color in our collection is named after a different American city, such as ‘Seattle Sapphire’ for the deep, moody blue that evokes the skies over the Pacific Northwest, and ‘Miami Magenta’ for the vibrant, energetic hue that matches the vibrant spirit of the city.
Titanium Made is more than a jewellery brand. It’s a celebration of the beauty found in nature, a testament to the power of inspiration and a symbol of the craftsmanship that goes into creating something truly special.
